
Niko Del Hierro
Niko del Hierro is one of the most recognized musicians in the rock scene across Spanish speaking countries. He has led Saratoga for 33 years as its founder and sole constant member throughout the band’s history.
For over 23 consecutive years, specialized magazines have honored him as the best rock bassist in Spain. His extensive tours have taken him across Europe, South America, Central America, and North America. In the United States, he has performed in more than 14 states; since 2008, he has conducted extensive tours throughout Mexico from north to south; in Colombia, he participated in the “Rock al Parque” festival, drawing over 25,000 attendees during his performance. Recently, in Arequipa, Peru, they headlined, playing before more than 20,000 people. Ecuador since 2007 25000 pax in Quito, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Nicaragua are among the countries he tours annually. In Spain, they participate in major global festivals such as Leyendas del Rock, Rock Imperium, and Rock Fest. This year, they attracted over 28,000 listeners in Fuenlabrada, Madrid.

With over 39 years as a live and studio musician, he has also served as a bass and harmony instructor, conducted masterclasses, and held roles such as manager, sales manager, producer, and commercial director. He has played and recorded with numerous bands, notably Barón Rojo and Ñu, when he was just over 20 years old.
