ROASCIO
Marcelo Roascio is a guitarist, producer, teacher, and pioneer in the publication of audio instruction books for electric guitar in Argentina, with eighteen titles published and distributed nationwide.
In addition to having been a member of several bands of national rock legends, he also played with Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson/Jeff Beck), Stu Hamm (Satriani/Steve Vai), Elliott Randall (Steely Dan), Steve Rothery (Marillion), David Palau (Serrat/Sabina), Steve Lynch (Autograph), and Mark Boals (Y. Malmsteen), among others.
He has also worked alongside Steve Morse (Deep Purple), Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper), Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders), Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr/Santana), Kat Dyson (Prince), George Benson, etc.
Invited by the different brands he endorses, Marcelo Roascio performed demos at the NAMM Show in the US in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018, and is the only Argentine rock guitarist to have played several times at Music China in the city of Shanghai (2015 to 2019/2023 to 2024).


He leads the instrumental rock group Roascio RCM, having released the albums "Espías" (Rigor Records.), "Dos de Tres" (Wensound S.R.L), “Todo en un Día” (Ava Records/Boosweet Records), “En el lugar justo” (Icarus/Boosweet Records) and “Uno mismo” (Pampa Rds. BA). His latest works feature guests such as Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck), Stuart Hamm (Satriani, Vai, Gambale), Walter Giardino (Rata Blanca), Vernon Neilly (USA), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, The Dead Daisies), and Ricardo Iorio (V8, Hermética, Almafuerte).
In 2024, Clara Beter Ediciones published his biography “Siendo uno mismo”, which was presented at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair.
