His interest in music began in his teens, influenced by bands like Iron Maiden, Stratovarius, Children of Bodom and guitarists like Walter Giardino, Dave Suzuki, Yngwie Malsteen and Alexi Laiho. This motivated him to learn to play guitar on his own and develop a style oriented towards rock and metal. Later, he began to study formally with different guitar teachers, including the renowned guitarist Sebastián García (Sebastiside).

Camilo is mainly recognized for his role as a YouTuber for the Metal Hero channel, talking about the history of the most representative musicians of rock and metal, as well as reviewing products from different brands, and testing these devices in real environments.
He is currently part of the Colombian Sinfónico Death Metal band Herejía, which has performed on different stages in the country, with the Movistar Arena being one of the most prominent. The group has also had the opportunity to play in countries such as Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico.
