ARI GARCIA

he  musician  Ariel  Garcia  (a.k.a  “ARI”)  was  born  in  Buenos  Aires.  He  started  to  get  interested  in  music  since  he  was  a  little  kid.  At  the  age  of  7  he  picked  up  his  first  guitar  and  tried  to  emulate  the  songs  he  was  listening  on  the  radio.  Later  on  he  started  his  musical  formation  studying  classical  guitar  in  different  music  schools  and  private  teachers  in  Buenos  Aires  city.  When  he  got  12  years  old  he  took  part  in  his  first  band  (with  band  mates  much  older  than  him)  and  start  playing  in  every  club  and  bar  in  his  hometown.  When  he  realized  that  music  is  going  to  be  his  life  he  continued  his  studies,  with  focus  on  Rock,  Blues,  Jazz  and  Fusion.  He  collaborated  with  several  bands  while  he  was  taking  his  courses,  learning  the  basics  on  real  life  stages.  Since  then  has  been  taking  courses  and  training  in  everything  he  can  get  related  to  music  and  musical  gear.  Later,  along  with  his  brother,  he  founded  a  Custom  shop  for  guitars  and  basses.

One  of  his  “strong”  points,  thanks  to  his  wide  performing  background,  is  the  direction  on  students  “ensembles”,  In  which  students  of  different  instruments  take  part  and  interact  in  a  controlled  environment,  developing  primordial  skills  for  any  all  round  musician:  team  work,  ear  training,  comping  and  soloing.  Also  he  has  specialized  in  teaching  special  techniques  on  electric  guitar  such  as:  hybrid  picking,  sweep  picking,  tapping,  use  of  Whammy  bar  among  others.  Teaching  abroad:  Because  of  his  role  as  a  professional  musician  he  has  traveled  extensively  and  this  has  allowed  him  to  teach  also  in  different  countries  such  as  Brazil,  Mexico,  UK,  Germany,  Spain,  USA,  Oman,  Qatar,  China,  Japan  and  UAE.  As  sound  technician,  he  has  been  in  charge  of  setting  up  stages  and  live  performances  in  different  countries  for  different  caliber  of  artists.  He  has  extensive  knowledge  of  sound  systems,  connection  and  tuning  up  as  well  as  everything  related  to  digital  recording.
